I was born in 1972 in Gorizia, a small town of Italy. I fell in love with gemstones and minerals very young. My huge passion for diamonds and gemstones pushed me to earn my degree in geology with full marks and honours from the University of Trieste. My next step was getting the G.I.A. Graduate Diamonds diploma from G.I.A. Gemological Institute of America, the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones and pearls, the leading source of knowledge, standards and education in gems and jewelry. Then I got all the other G.I.A. prestigious diplomas: the G.I.A. Graduate Colored Stones, the top grade G.I.A. G.G. Graduate Gemologist, the G.I.A. Graduate Pearls and the G.I.A. Applied Jewelry Professional diploma. From I.G.I. International Gemological Institute of Antwerp I got the I.G.I. Rough Diamond Grader diploma too. For many years I had been working for big companies, brands and chainstores as a gemologist, diamond and colored gemstone buyer and seller, appraiser, consultant and expert. Since 2007 I’ve been a “freelance” and I’m still cooperating with diamond, colored gemstone and jewelry producers, wholesalers, cutters and goldsmiths from all over the World. I’ve just opened my new gemological laboratory in Gorizia but I can move everywhere with my portable gemlab to make appraisals, gem and jewelry analysis, consulting etc.. Feel free to contact me!
